Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Deploy, configure, inspect and maintain the company's server infrastructure; lead incident response and root-cause analysis.

2. Manage the KVM virtualisation platform — environment provisioning, capacity and performance management, vulnerability scanning and hardening — to keep it stable and efficient.

3. Maintain the centralised monitoring system: adjust monitoring policy and alert thresholds to match business needs, and follow up on alerts and incidents.

4. Write and maintain system documentation, and keep operational process documentation current.

Requirements

1. Degree in computer science or a related field, with 2+ years managing Linux systems. Candidates with stronger experience may be considered without the formal degree requirement.

2. Solid networking fundamentals, including how TCP/IP works in practice. Experience running high-traffic web servers is a plus, as is familiarity with configuration management tooling (Puppet, SaltStack or Ansible).

3. Familiarity with Linux high-availability and load-balancing techniques, and with web stack administration — installing, configuring and maintaining Apache, Nginx, Tomcat and Squid.

4. Familiarity with server hardware and the ability to diagnose and isolate faults. Comfortable using monitoring tools such as Cacti, Nagios or Ganglia. Virtualisation experience (VMware, KVM, Docker) is preferred.

5. Strong communication and teamwork, genuine ownership of your work, attention to detail, and a habit of learning and sharing. RHCE or RHCA certification is a plus.

6. Working proficiency in one or two scripting languages such as Shell, Python or Perl.

Platform Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

1. Provide operational support for the platform to keep business running reliably.

2. Contribute to and improve departmental processes so teams work together effectively.

3. Answer user enquiries about platform services.

4. Handle customer complaints and resolve them within your authority.

5. Record and edit event video, identify strong submissions, and handle light editorial work in the admin system.

6. Coordinate with other departments as required.

Requirements

1. College diploma or above; genuine interest in the internet industry.

2. Strong sense of responsibility, reliable, positive and easy to work with.

3. Clear verbal communication and standard Mandarin.

4. Confident with office software and everyday internet tools.

5. Able to work rotating day and night shifts.

Content Review Specialist

Responsibilities

1. Review, screen and process audio, video, image and text content across the platform against editorial standards.

2. Moderate and file platform content, maintaining order and compliance.

3. Answer user enquiries about platform services so campaigns run smoothly.

4. Handle customer complaints and resolve them within your authority.

5. Contribute to revising review standards and improving review process and guidance.

Requirements

1. College diploma or above, any major. Prior content review experience at a video platform is preferred.

2. Familiarity with online information security and a well-developed sense of risk; able to judge and act on a breaking topic as it develops.

3. Patient, meticulous, dependable and rigorous, with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.

4. Some communication and coordination ability, able to work under pressure.

Note: shift patterns are set by the department; night shifts are required. Promotion paths include team lead, supervisor, platform operations, online marketing and music editing.
